As Doubtless Pet Care continues to grow, we are seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst or Pricing Lead to join the Risk Pricing team. We are passionate about professional development and believe with the right attitude and ability anything can be taught. Our ideal candidate is passionate about sharing ideas, a fast learner and adaptable in an agile and growing business. Our team of experienced pricing experts will prioritise supporting new joiners and providing any training that is needed.
Package: We are offering a salary of up to £75,000 per annum at Pricing Lead level or £60,000 for a Senior Analyst, 24 days holiday, plus your birthday as an additional day, life assurance, Private Health Cover and a range of other employee benefits!
Location: This is a hybrid role based in London Paddington, the team meet in the office on the 1st Tuesday of every month with the opportunity to meet more often.
What you’ll get up to as our Senior Pricing Analyst or Pricing Lead:
- Develop and enhance our risk pricing models using both GLMs and more advanced ML techniques
- Deliver actionable insights to the Market Pricing team, beyond communication of model updates
- Focus on R&D and feature engineering to continually improve sophistication of models and analysis
- Communicate results to the wider team and understand the impact of your work on final business decisions and results
- Monitor performance of expected loss ratios, risk mix index and pricing assumptions
- Support in building the risk pricing infrastructure, processes and procedures that ensure transparency, clear documentation and accuracy of output
What we look for in you:
- Experienced in general insurance pricing
- Strong data and analytical skills, working with large volumes of complex data, using data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, SAS or Excel VBA
- Experience of using Emblem & Radar ideal but not essential
- Attention to detail to ensure Risk Pricing outputs are accurate
- Track record of meeting deadlines and strong stakeholder management
- Proactive and innovative to ensure our capability keeps progressing
