The Role
The Senior Commercial Partnerships Manager is responsible for managing and developing key strategic partners and aggregators, helping to drive commercial growth, positive customer outcomes, and long-term business value.
The role oversees day-to-day relationships with key partners, ensuring commercial performance is monitored, managed, and delivered.
Acting as the main commercial contact between Pinnacle Pet UK, its partners, aggregators, and internal teams, you will lead trading activity, identify growth opportunities, support commercial negotiations, and maintain effective governance through performance reviews, forecasting, planning, and regular partnership meetings.
To succeed in this role, you'll bring strong commercial awareness, analytical skills, and stakeholder management experience, with a focus on delivering mutually beneficial outcomes that support the businesses' strategic objectives, regulatory responsibilities, and commitment to customers.

- Accountable for driving partner P&L performance and growth across key commercial measures
- Work closely with Pricing and Underwriting to analyse data and performance, identify trends, inform decision-making and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- Manage partner relationships to ensure distribution activities within each partner’s control are delivered in line with agreed budgets, targets and performance expectations
- Proactively monitor performance against agreed plans, identifying variances and recommending targeted actions to improve partner performance, profitability and customer outcomes.
- Build, strengthen and maintain long-term relationships with partners and aggregators, supporting the delivery of a consistently high-quality service and agree performance
- Collaborate with aggregators and internal business functions to maximise commercial opportunities, ensure timely delivery and manage activity within agreed cost-per-sale parameters
- Own and optimise the online aggregator journey, ensuring updates, monitoring and performance improvements are delivered effectively
- Identify and develop additional sales, revenue, product, marketing and channel opportunities, contributing to the strategic roadmap and long-term partner growth.
- Ensure appropriate management information is produced, reviewed, analysed and monitored to evidence fair treatment of customers and delivery of good customer outcomes.
- Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions with existing and prospective partners.
- Assist with tenders, new partner onboarding, product and proposition development, and product reviews.
- Develop and maintain a clear partner growth and customer agenda, supporting mutual commercial benefit, improved customer outcomes and long-term value creation
- Own the partner trading rhythm, including regular performance reviews, trading updates, action plans and escalation where performance is off track.
- Lead Joint Management Committee and Joint Strategy Committee meetings, ensuring effective governance, clear actions and accountability for deliver
- Lead annual planning and forecasting for partner performance, working with Finance, Pricing, Underwriting and Marketing.
- Manage and escalate risks and issues appropriately, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
- Track service incidents, ensure appropriate escalation and support actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and forecast changes in demand, aligning partner activity to the PPG and Pinnacle Pet UK strategy.
- Lead, coordinate or support the delivery of initiatives, projects, communications and reporting activity, whether regular or ad hoc, internal or external
- Work closely with Compliance to understand emerging industry and regulatory trends, making well-considered recommendations where action is required.
- Act to deliver good outcomes for retail customers by supporting high standards of customer care and enabling consumers to make effective decisions in their own interests.
