Pricing Manager in London

As Doubtless Pet Care continues to grow, we are seeking a Pricing Manager to join our Pricing team.

We are looking for a commercially-minded Pricing Manager to take ownership of pricing performance across one or more brands.

This is a broad, hands-on role for an individual who can identify issues and opportunities, develop effective solutions, and drive them through to delivery. You will combine analytical thinking with strong commercial judgement and be confident influencing decisions across the business.

Working closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners, you will play a key role in shaping pricing strategy, improving performance, and delivering profitable growth.

Location: This is a hybrid role based in London Paddington with one day per month in the office and flexibility to attend more frequently if preferred.

• Own pricing performance and commercial outcomes for one or more brands.
• Identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends through performance monitoring and market insight.
• Develop and deliver pricing recommendations that support growth, competitiveness, and profitability.
• Lead pricing initiatives from initial problem identification through to implementation and review.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and external partners.
• Build strong relationships across the business and act as a trusted adviser on pricing matters.
• Drive continuous improvement in pricing processes, tools, and capabilities.
• Line managerment responsibilties, including coaching and developing junior team members.
• Ensure pricing activity is delivered to a high standard and in line with governance requirements.

What we look for in you

We're looking for an all-rounder who takes ownership, thinks commercially, and delivers outcomes. Someone who can spot issues, recommend the right course of action, bring stakeholders with them, and successfully execute solutions while building strong relationships internally and externally.

• Significant experience in General Insurance pricing.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of pricing performance drivers.
• Familiarity with pricing and analytical tools such as Radar, SQL, Python, R, SAS, Emblem, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Experience leading projects and developing others.
• Proven ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and deliver results.
• Experience influencing business decisions and managing senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, including experience working directly with clients or external partners.
• Experience of Line Managing small teams is desirable
