As Pinnacle Pet Group continues to grow, we are seeking an Actuarial Analyst - Capital & Reporting to join our Actuarial team. This role is hybrid with a base location in London Paddington / Borehamwood.

Location: This role is Hybrid, with some office presence required at our offices in Borehamwood and London Paddington.
What you’ll get up to:
- You’ll play a key role in producing regular Solvency UK reports and supporting forward-looking capital assessments.
- Your work will also contribute to group-level reporting and involve a variety of actuarial projects across areas such as reinsurance, regulatory watch, statutory closing, budgeting or risk monitoring.
What we look for in you:
- A degree, preferably in Economics, Science of Business.
- Nearly qualified Actuary, making good progress toward actuarial qualification.
- Actuarial/insurance experience, preferably personal line general insurance experience (Pet ideally).
- Strong analytical, IT coding (Excel advanced), and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Solvency UK/Solvency II (TP and/or SCR).
As an Actuarial Analyst - Capital & Reporting team, you will:
- Support quarterly and annual Solvency UK submissions, including liability estimates and SCR calculations.
- Contribute to capital projections for ORSA and group reporting.
- Assist with reinsurance analysis, budgeting, reserving, and risk monitoring.
- Support the team with ad-hoc actuarial projects, including responding to audit queries, analysing reinsurance, monitoring regulatory changes, modelling, budgeting, and reserving.
- Help improve and automate processes to boost efficiency and support business growth.
- Contribute to delivering positive outcomes for customers by promoting high standards of care and helping them make informed decisions.
