The Pinnacle Group is looking for an Experienced Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our properties and sites and play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe.
You will be joining our Workplace Security Teams based at Carrington, Manchester M31.
Access to own transport is essential as there is NO public transport to the site.
Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services.
With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.
Your role will involve monitoring premises, conducting regular foot patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining detailed reports.
You will need to be observant, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills.
This is a Permanent Role of 42 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, working 4 on 4 off – 2x Days & 2x Nights 6am‑6pm / 6pm‑6am rolling rota.
There is also a shift allowance of £217 per month, and overtime is available, which is paid at an x1.5 rate.

Key Responsibilities
- Meet and greet visitors, staff and contractors and manage the gatehouse environment.
- Conduct routine mobile & foot patrols of assigned premises and detect signs of any intrusion or unusual activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies and incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Liaison with local authorities, including police, emergency healthcare services or fire dispatch in case of an emergency.
- Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, logging all security‑related activities and occurrences.
- Test alarms and conduct various meter readings.
- Operate a telephone switchboard and use client software in the control room.
- Key Essential Requirements
- Valid SIA Badge – SG or DS Licence.
- Access to own transport due to location.
- Hold a UK Manual Driver's Licence, as company vehicles will be used.
- Strong, clear communicator, as you will be using Radio Control.
- Must be able to use and understand the Phonetic Alphabet.
- Full 5‑year UK checkable work history.
