Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and develop the Talent Acquisition team, comprising three Talent Acquisition Advisors and one Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor, whilst maintaining ownership of key recruitment campaigns and strategic hiring requirements.

This is a highly operational and hands‑on leadership role, responsible for delivering end‑to‑end recruitment whilst driving the transformation of the Talent Acquisition function from a transactional recruitment service into a proactive, data‑driven and strategic talent acquisition model.

Working closely with hiring managers and senior leaders across the business, the Talent Acquisition Manager will enhance hiring capability, improve workforce planning, strengthen employer branding, build talent pipelines and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.

The role is paying £50k per year with a performance related bonus of up to £2k.

It can be based anywhere in the UK.

But regular travel will be required especially to our Head Office in Holborn, London.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop the Talent Acquisition team, creating a high‑performing and customer‑focused culture.
  • Set objectives, monitor performance and support the professional development of team members.
  • Promote collaboration, best practice and continuous improvement across the function.
  • Lead by example through hands‑on recruitment delivery and stakeholder management.
  • Manage end‑to‑end recruitment activity, including direct ownership of senior, specialist and business‑critical vacancies.
  • Oversee recruitment performance, ensuring hiring targets and service levels are achieved.
  • Support the team with sourcing, assessment, candidate management and complex recruitment campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance, governance and recruitment records are maintained to a high standard.
  • Partner with leaders to understand current and future workforce needs.
  • Build talent pipelines and implement proactive sourcing strategies for key roles.
  • Use recruitment data and market insights to inform hiring decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning and talent mapping initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing recruitment expertise and market insight.
  • Build strong relationships across the business and influence hiring decisions where appropriate.
  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience and a consistent recruitment approach.
  • Support the development of the employer brand and represent the organisation at recruitment events as required.
  • Drive the evolution of the recruitment function into a true Talent Acquisition model.
  • Lead improvements to recruitment processes, systems and ways of working.
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics to drive efficiency, quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Contribute to wider Talent Acquisition and Talent Development initiatives.
  • Key Requirements
  • Proven experience leading and developing recruitment or talent acquisition teams.
  • Strong hands‑on recruitment experience across volume, specialist and professional hiring.
  • Ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience developing talent pipelines, direct sourcing strategies and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Track record of delivering process improvements and driving change.
  • Strong commercial awareness and data‑driven decision‑making capability.
  • Excellent communication, relationship‑building and organisational skills.
  • Experience using ATS platforms and recruitment technologies.
  • Knowledge of employer branding and recruitment marketing principles.
  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent) desirable.
