Pinnacle Group is looking for a dedicated School Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at one of our schools. You will be joining our Facilities Team at Baron's Court School in Southend. Your role will involve general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste management to ensure that the internal school facilities are cleaned to the required standard as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.

You will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence. If you take pride in your work and have a passion for creating clean, safe spaces, we encourage you to apply. This is a full-time permanent position working 10 hours per week - 4.15PM - 6.15PM, Monday - Thursday, 3PM-5PM Friday's.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure classrooms, toilets, offices and all allocated areas are cleaned to a good standard
  • Damp-wipe tables, chairs desks and hard surfaces
  • Vacuum all soft floors and carpets, including barrier matting
  • Damp & spot mopping, dusting, polishing of surfaces, fixtures and fittings, sanitizing touch points, door handles, push plates, and other surfaces including windows within easy reach

Key requirements:

  • Good knowledge and experience and attention to detail in cleaning services and cleaning equipment including COSHH and Health and Safety
  • Good timekeeping and attendance are important
  • Ability to work to laid down schedules
  • Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative

Please Note: Confirmation of appointment will be subject to completion of a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service Check (DBS) & references.
