Pinnacle Group are looking for a proactive and hands-on Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our Soft FM teams who cover numerous different housing sites including general needs estates, sheltered accommodation blocks and extra care facilities. Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities. Based in Peterborough, you’ll lead a team delivering high-quality grounds maintenance and gardening and cleaning services across a diverse portfolio of sites throughout Cambridgeshire and into the Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting regular site checks and undertaking grounds maintenance inspections.
- Quoting jobs and arranging additional works.
- Reporting required repairs and maintenance in communal areas.
- Advising manager of equipment and materials that need to be ordered.
- Ensuring all machinery is a safe working.
- Covering grounds maintenance duties – mowing, weeding, strimming and litter picking.
Key Requirements
- Knowledge of the use of chemicals (COSHH).
- Experience of grounds maintenance services and equipment.
- Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 12 months (essential).
- Proven experience in a team leading/supervisory position.
