Early Morning Police Station Cleaner – Permanent, 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday). 3-hour shift starting at either 9:00am or 9:30am at the Northallerton Police Station (DL6).

Key Responsibilities

  • Damp & spot mopping, dusting, polishing of surfaces, fixtures and fittings.
  • Sanitising touch points, door handles, push plates, and other surfaces.
  • Cleaning changing rooms, toilet facilities, hand basins and replenishing toilet paper, hand soap & towels.
  • Cleaning the tea points and the kitchen area.
  • Removal of waste from internal litter bins within the offices and meeting rooms.
  • Vacuuming carpeted areas, including barrier matting.

Key Qualifications

  • Evidence of honesty and reliability.
  • Professional pride in delivering excellent customer service.
  • Adherence to safe working practices and consideration of the safety of office staff.
  • Previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses.
  • Completion of a Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) Check and residence in the UK for the last three years.
