Pinnacle Group are looking for a proactive Deputy Property Manager to provide day to day support for our Property Management Team. This is a varied role that combines the administrative duties with on-site property management for a large portfolio of residential blocks at St Andrews Village in Bromley by Bow for a mixed tenure of social housing and private leaseholders. In the role you will assist with supporting activities involving block management, service charges and resident engagement. You will be joining our Homes team who serves communities by providing trusted housing management solutions. We take a collaborative and commercially minded, yet socially principled approach across our portfolio of Affordable, Private Rented and Leasehold properties.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist the Property Managers in managing the administration of the clients' customer portal.
  • Assist the Property Manager to ensure annual Service Charge accounts are created, approved by client and issued to leaseholders.
  • Monitor payment of contractors and ensure invoices are processed promptly.
  • Undertake regular site visits and create site reports covering observations and remedial works required.
  • Instruct contractors for repair works and verify contractor work completed to specification.
  • Create and issue notices, periodic estate newsletters and updates on the client's customer portal.
  • Arrange periodic estate events for leaseholders/residents.
  • Assist the Property Manager in managing all on site staff including sickness & performance reviews.
  • Arrange periodic health and safety assessments/inspections (e.g. lifts, plant, machinery, water, and fire) and discharge any resulting actions.

Key requirements:

  • Previous block/property management experience.
  • Communication (written/oral) & inter-personal skills.
  • Be able to perform a whole range of housing management and administrative tasks.
  • IT skills (Word and Excel and relevant software).
  • Property management qualification (desirable).
