Pinnacle Group is looking for a Caretaker/Cleaner to join our Facilities Management Team to maintain high standards of cleanliness of our residential sites based in White City. Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.
Your role will involve general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste management to ensure a welcoming environment for all residents & visitors. You will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence. Hours will be 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday and this will initially be on a temporary basis but could well be moving onto a permanent contract.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Vacuuming carpeted areas, including barrier matting
- Damp & spot mopping, dusting, polishing of surfaces, fixtures and fittings, sanitising touch points, door handles, push plates, and other surfaces, including windows within easy reach
- Cleaning in communal areas (stairs & landings)
- Removal of waste from internal litter bins within the offices and meeting rooms
- Cleaning toilet facilities, hand basins and replenishing toilet paper, hand soap & towels
- Deep, clinical and reactive cleaning as required
Key requirements will include:
- Good knowledge and experience, and attention to detail in cleaning services and cleaning equipment, including COSHH and Health and Safety
- Good timekeeping and attendance are important
- Ability to work to laid-down schedules
- Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative
- Confirmation of appointment will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory Basic DBS check.
