Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced Industrial Cleaner (6am Day Shift) to maintain high standards of cleanliness at our manufacturing site. You will be joining our Workplace Specialist Industrial Cleaning Team based in Rocester, ST14. Transport is essential.
Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.
Your role will be to handle the overall day-to-day management of the cleaning operation on-site in a safe, efficient and professional manner, including cleaning of industrial equipment, floors, and work areas, as well as handling specialised cleaning tasks. You will need to be detail-oriented, physically fit, and capable of working with heavy-duty cleaning equipment and chemicals.
The role is Full-Time, working days 6am - 6pm on a 4 on / 4 off rolling rota, with enhanced pay of Time and a half on Saturdays and Sundays. If you take pride in maintaining a safe and clean environment and have experience in industrial cleaning, we would love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning of paint booths, welding, shot blast area, which will involve jet washing, floor scrubber drier, confined space cleaning, high-level cleaning, and other specialist cleaning duties.
- Operating industrial electrical cleaning equipment and power tools, including hammers, chisels, and Dry Ice Blaster, in accordance with health and safety and COSHH regulations.
- Waste management - collection, transportation, and storage of waste for both internal and external areas.
- Ensuring stores and equipment are kept secure and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
- Carrying out any reasonable task requested by the Managers.
Key requirements will include:
- Transport is essential.
- Experience with working to tight schedules.
- Physically fit and capable of working with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- The post will involve elements of manual handling, and you may also be required to work with substances controlled under COSHH regulations.
- High-level deep cleaning (working at height).
- Able to work in confined spaces.
