Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced Hard Services Scheduler to oversee the efficient delivery of hard FM services across a patch of schools in Exeter. In this role you will monitor the Planned Preventative Maintenance Planner and coordinate the schedules of engineers performing planned and reactive maintenance. You\’ll ensure engineers and contractors are fully briefed on their assignments and act as the liaison between the schools, engineers and service providers to ensure minimal disruption to school operations.
This is a full time, site-based role at Aston Court, Pynes Hill, Rydon Lane, Exeter. The role includes a weekly rotating shift pattern of 9am-5pm and 8am-4pm Monday – Friday.
You will be joining our Total FM team based in Exeter. The Total FM team provides integrated asset management and maintenance services across the education, leisure, corporate, health and living sectors to ensure facilities operate at their best.

Key responsibilities:
- Schedule Preventative Maintenance activities.
- Check the planner and brief the contractors/engineers on their schedules.
- Ensure all maintenance records are updated.
- Support the site teams as required, facilitating any incoming requests.
- Supporting the Helpdesk to field all incoming communications and requests
- Log all report observations onto the CAFM system.
Key requirements:
- Efficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word etc).
- Proven experience in scheduling and coordinating hard services, ideally within an education or public sector environment.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Experience ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, statutory maintenance requirements and internal quality standards.
- Familiarity with CAFM.
