Pinnacle Group are looking for a diligent Grounds Maintenance Operative to ensure our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. You will be joining our teams who are looking after the grounds on sites across the Castle Point area. Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations - including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.

Your role will involve traveling to sites across Canvey Island, Benfleet and Hadleigh and your responsibilities will include maintaining council highways and footpaths including weeding, strimming, hedgecutting, replacing litter bins, bollards etc. You will have a keen eye for detail, be physically fit, and possess a strong work ethic. This is a full time position and the hours will be 7.30am to 3pm, Monday to 3pm.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Driving company vehicles and transporting plant, machinery and equipment
  • Basic maintenance of grounds - weeding, strimming and hedgecutting
  • Vegetation works
  • Installing, re‑siting and removal of litter bins, street name plates, benches and bollards

Key Requirements:

  • Full clean UK Driving Licence
  • Experience in using gardening power tools
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
