Pinnacle Group are looking for a proactive and hands-on Grounds Maintenance and Cleaning Team Leader to join our Soft FM teams who cover housing sites including general needs estates, sheltered accommodation blocks and extra care facilities. Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations, including housing providers and blue light authorities. Working from our Slough office, you will lead a team delivering high-quality grounds maintenance, gardening and cleaning services across a diverse portfolio of sites throughout Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and London.
In this role, you will be responsible for organising daily tasks, supervising site standards, ensuring works are completed safely and also completing ad-hoc grounds maintenance and cleaning duties yourself. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in excellent service delivery, and is confident in motivating and guiding others.
Responsibilities:- Conducting regular site checks and undertaking cleaning and grounds maintenance inspections.
- Quoting jobs and arranging additional works.
- Reporting required repairs and maintenance in communal areas.
- Advising manager of equipment and materials that need to be ordered.
- Ensuring all machinery is a safe working.
- Covering grounds maintenance duties β mowing, weeding, strimming and litter picking.
- Covering cleaning duties β mopping, dusting and sweeping hard surfaces.
- Experience of grounds maintenance services and equipment.
- Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 12 months is essential.
- Proven experience in a team leading/supervisory position.
- Professional cleaning experience.
