Pinnacle Group is looking for a dedicated Day Shift Factory Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness at our manufacturing site. You will be joining our Workplace Specialist Industrial Cleaning Team based in Rocester, ST14. Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services.
Your role will be to handle the overall day-to-day management of the cleaning operation on-site in a safe, efficient and professional manner, including cleaning of industrial equipment, floors, and work areas, as well as handling specialised cleaning tasks. You will need to be detail-oriented, physically fit, and capable of working with heavy-duty cleaning equipment and chemicals.
This is a Full Time Permanent Day Shift working Monday to Friday with a choice of start times anytime from 5am up to 9am, working 7 ½ hour shifts per day, totalling 37.5 hours per week. Key responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning of Paint booths / Welding / Shot blast area and will involve: jet washing, floor scrubber drier, confined space cleaning, high-level cleaning, and other specialist cleaning duties.
- Operate industrial electrical cleaning equipment and power tools, including hammers, chisels and Dry Ice Blaster, in accordance with health and safety and COSHH regulations.
- Waste management - collection, transportation, and storage of waste for both internal and external areas.
- Ensure stores and equipment are kept secure and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
- Carry out any reasonable task requested by the Managers and Supervisors.
Key requirements will include:
- Experience with working to tight schedules.
- Physically fit and capable of working with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- The Post will involve elements of manual handling, and you may also be required to work with substances controlled under COSHH regulations.
- High-Level deep Cleaning (working at height) and Able to work in Confined Spaces.
