Pinnacle Group is looking for a Technical Services Supervisor to join our Homes division, supporting the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of residential developments across our portfolio. This role will oversee hard FM services, M&E systems, contractor performance, building safety compliance, and defect management, ensuring properties are maintained to the highest standards while delivering an excellent service to clients and residents. Our Homes Division delivers trusted housing management services across Affordable, Private Rented and Leasehold properties. We work with local authorities, registered providers and investors to support thriving communities. The ideal candidate will have experience within facilities management, building services, maintenance, or technical property operations. They will have a strong understanding of hard services and building compliance, with experience gained from a technical trade, engineering, or building services background. Confident managing contractors, statutory compliance, and stakeholder relationships, they will be able to oversee multiple priorities, identify service improvements, and support the effective delivery of technical services across a residential property portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Managing hard services, M&E systems and building defects across a portfolio of residential developments.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory, building safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Overseeing the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services through contractors and service partners.
  • Managing contractor performance to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with agreed standards.
  • Supporting the management of building safety risks, inspections and compliance programmes.
  • Providing technical advice and guidance to Property Managers, clients and key stakeholders.
  • Monitoring maintenance programmes and ensuring services align with SFG20 principles where applicable.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, operational performance and value for money.
  • Supporting procurement, contract management and the review of service providers.
  • Participating in an on-call rota and assisting with technical and operational issues as required.

Requirements

  • Experience managing hard services, building services, facilities management or technical property operations.
  • Strong understanding of statutory compliance, health and safety, and building safety requirements.
  • Technical background within an engineering, building services, maintenance or trade discipline.
  • Experience managing contractors and ensuring service delivery against agreed standards.
  • Ability to assess technical issues, manage risk and support compliance across residential developments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
