Job Overview
Grounds Maintenance and Cleaning Team Leader – Soft FM division.
Lead a team delivering high‑quality grounds maintenance, gardening and cleaning services across multiple housing sites throughout Sussex and Hampshire.
Work from the Chichester area.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site checks and complete cleaning and grounds maintenance inspections.
- Quote jobs and arrange additional works.
- Report required repairs and maintenance in communal areas.
- Advise manager on equipment and materials to be ordered.
- Ensure all machinery is safe to operate.
- Cover grounds maintenance duties – mowing, weeding, strimming and litter picking.
- Cover cleaning duties – mopping, dusting and sweeping hard surfaces.
Requirements
- Knowledge of chemicals and COSHH.
- Experience with grounds maintenance services and equipment.
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
- Proven experience in a team‑leading/supervisory role.
- Professional cleaning experience.
