Pinnacle Group are seeking a Rent Collection Team Leader to manage a team of Six Income Collection Officers This is a key role in the management of the overall income team. You will ensure that the rent collection and arrears recovery processes are delivered in a way that is efficient, effective and customer-focused, that rental income is maximised for our clients, and that KPIs are met as we seek to provide a best in class service.
This is a full-time role with a hybrid working pattern of 3-4 days in the office. The working hours are Monday β Friday 9am-5.30pm, although some flexibility maybe required for business needs.
Our Homes division is a leading provider of housing management services across all tenures. A community-focused business, our client base spans central and local government, as well as the development and institutional investment sectors. Alongside over 80,000 homes in management we have two for profit registered provider registrations and a market-leading council partnership acquiring, refurbishing, managing and maintaining a portfolio of 500 properties. In the last three years, in addition to acquiring a residential lettings business, we have secured a major Ministry of Defence contract providing services across a portfolio of 49,000 military homes, as well as a growing client base within the Build to Rent and development sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure that Income Officers are supported to succeed in their role through effective management, structured supervision, regular check ins and target setting.
- To assist in the preparation of monthly performance reports to our clients, ensuring they are high-quality, timely and accurate.
- To maintain effective working relationships with operational colleagues in our Property Management teams to ensure that the benefits of joint working are realised.
- Work closely with senior colleagues in the Income Team to set the strategic direction, manage growth and deliver continuous improvement.
- Support operational directors in strategic client relationships by advising on income collection issues and providing supporting analysis.
- Risk management β early identification of potential problems, development of risk mitigation strategies, and timely escalation where necessary.
- In this role you will support tenancy sustainment by providing customers with appropriate support, welfare advice and guidance.
Key Requirements:
- An excellent knowledge of rent recovery
- The ability to manage and motivate individuals and teams to deliver required service outcomes.
- Excellent performance management and target setting ability.
- Experience of casework and decision making
- Experience of building strong relationships with internal and external partners and agencies; strong communication skills
- Good understanding of the Welfare Reform Act and of GDPR.
