Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Relief Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our properties and sites. You will be joining our B2B Security Teams based at a leading design and engineering site in Lockwood, Huddersfield HD4.
Your role will involve monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining detailed reports. You need to be observant, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills.
This is a Permanent Relief Role working on an ad-hoc basis, covering staff holidays and sickness on 12-hour shifts with a mix of day and night shifts from either 6pm – 6am or 6am – 6pm, including some weekends.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring access control to the building, checking credentials, ensuring only authorized personnel can enter restricted areas, and keeping visitor logs.
- Having a visible presence through routine foot patrols, including locking and unlocking premises.
- Taking accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries, and all relevant paperwork, including detailed incident reports.
- Operating a telephone switchboard, client software, and security CCTV systems in the control room.
- Carrying out daily/weekly health & safety checks.
Key Requirements
- Valid SIA Badge – SG or DS Licence (Essential)
- CCTV experience / First Aid (preferred but not essential)
- Resided in the UK for the last 5 years (Essential)
- Ability to provide a full 5-year UK checkable work history
- Completion of BPSS and NSV checks will be required for employment.
