Pinnacle Group is seeking a dedicated Afternoon Police Station Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our communities. You will be joining our Blue Light Soft FM Cleaning Team based at Clough Road Police Station – HU5.
This permanent role requires 15–20 hours per week with flexible shift patterns. You may work 3 or 4‑hour shifts per day from Monday to Friday, starting no earlier than 2 pm and finishing by 9 pm.
In addition to the scheduled hours, overtime may be required to cover annual leave and sickness.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all areas to standards required to meet Authority requirements, including: deep cleaning of communal areas, custody suites, interview rooms, cells, vehicles and offices.
- Ensure appropriate PPE/uniforms are used during working hours.
- Adhere to strict protocols regarding biohazards, infection control, and contamination.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any issues or maintenance needs.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in a secure police environment.
Key Requirements
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual cleaning tasks with knowledge of colour coding cloths, manual handling, COSHH & Health & Safety.
- Use a variety of cleaning equipment, including scrubber dryers.
- Ability to pass a Non‑Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) check.
- Must have resided in the UK for the last 3 years.
