Pinnacle Group are seeking an experienced People Partner to join our People Service Families division, delivering effective, evidence-based people solutions, support and advice to enable the organisation to achieve its people priorities and address key workforce challenges. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will manage multiple people matters simultaneously, providing commercially focused guidance across the employee lifecycle, including employee relations, change management, and employment legislation, while ensuring consistency and compliance.

Pinnacle Service Families manages 49,000 military family homes across the UK – one of the largest and most significant contracts within Pinnacle Group. Delivered on behalf of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), part of the Ministry of Defence, our work supports service families by providing well-managed services and advocating for their needs in everything we do.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced People Partner professional with a strong track record of managing complex employee relations cases and supporting organisational change from end to end. You will have a solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice, with the ability to provide clear, commercially focused advice in a fast-paced environment. Confident influencing and challenging stakeholders at all levels, you will bring excellent communication and relationship-building skills, alongside the ability to coach managers and drive capability. Experience working in multi-site environments and relevant sectors such as facilities management, housing, or contact centres would be advantageous, along with a CIPD qualification or progress towards one. This is a hybrid role based in Speke, Liverpool, with a requirement to work on-site 2–3 days per week, alongside travel to Chelmsford, Essex once a month.

Key responsibilities
  • Employee Relations: Provide expert, pragmatic advice and guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes. Advise on a broad range of complex ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence, and capability matters. Coach, guide, and constructively challenge stakeholders to support sound, evidence-based, and commercially balanced decision-making. Support managers in preparing for formal processes, ensuring adherence to policy, appropriate documentation, and best practice. Review and provide quality assurance on investigation reports, outcome letters, and case documentation to ensure a high and consistent standard. Ensure consistent interpretation and application of People policies and procedures across all cases. Identify, assess, and proactively manage people-related risks, escalating high-risk or complex matters as appropriate. Analyse ER trends and root causes, providing insights and recommending proactive interventions, training, and continuous improvement actions.
  • Change Management: Provide specialist advice and support on organisational change and TUPE processes, ensuring compliance and effective implementation. Lead on guiding stakeholders through organisational change processes, including restructures, consultation requirements (individual and collective), and contractual changes. Lead on inbound and outbound TUPE processes, ensuring adherence to employment legislation and organisational standards. Lead the planning and delivery support of consultation activity, ensuring clear, transparent, and compliant communication. Lead the coordination and implementation of change initiatives, working collaboratively with the wider People team and key stakeholders. Ensure accurate employee data management and documentation throughout change and TUPE processes. Identify and mitigate risk associated with organisational change, providing clear recommendations to support decision-making.
