Pinnacle Group are looking for 2 x People Business Partners to join our People Team. Reporting into the Group People Director, these new roles have been created to strengthen the link between the People Team and the business and to establish a consistent, commercially focused people service. Each position will be aligned to the separate parts of the business – Facilities Management and Homes & Corporate Teams. The People Business Partners (PBP’s) will work directly with operational leaders, providing trusted advice and hands-on support to drive performance, engagement, and compliance. In addition, the PBP’s will work with a small team of HR Advisors to ensure managers receive timely, consistent, and high-quality ER support across the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced, commercially focused and high performing People Business Partners who have a background in a fast paced, multi-site service organisation, (e.g. facilities management, hospitality, retail, or property).
This is a hybrid role with frequent travel into our Holborn Head Office, our Chelmsford Office and other offices across the UK. The salary for this role is up to £75,000 based on experience, a performance related bonus of up to 15% and a car allowance.

Key responsibilities will include:
Business Partnering
- Act as the primary contact for operational leaders, providing clear, pragmatic advice on all people matters.
- Partner with senior managers to improve capability and skills of front-line managers and supervisors.
- Partner with Divisional Managing Director to drive colleague engagement and team performance.
- Use workforce data and insight to inform decision-making and highlight risks and opportunities.
- Ensure people initiatives are practical, commercially sound, and aligned to operational needs.
Employee Relations
- Oversee delivery of advice and casework, ensuring consistency, compliance, and quality.
- Provide escalation support and guidance for more complex or sensitive employee issues, lead on complex ER cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance management).
- Ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant handling of all ER issues across the business.
- Review and strengthen policies, processes, and training to reduce ER risk.
Operational Improvement & Projects
- Drive process improvements within People team to create a more efficient, business-aligned function.
- Lead or contribute to people-related projects such as organisational change, engagement, or policy updates.
Key requirements
- Substantial HR generalist experience at PBP or equivalent level, ideally within a commercially focused, operational environment (e.g. logistics, retail, services, FM/property).
- Strong track record of leading complex ER cases through to successful resolution.
- Previous experience of developing People teams.
- Knowledge of HR systems.
