Pinnacle Group is looking for a dedicated Night Shift Factory Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness at our manufacturing site. You will be joining our Workplace Specialist Industrial Cleaning Team based in Rocester ST14. Transport is essential.
Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.
Your role will be to handle the overall day-to-day management of the cleaning operation on-site in a safe, efficient and professional manner, including cleaning of industrial equipment, floors, and work areas, as well as handling specialised cleaning tasks. You will need to be detail-oriented, physically fit, and capable of working with heavy-duty cleaning equipment and chemicals.
This is a Full Time Permanent Night Shift working 4 nights per week, Monday to Thursday 5.30pm to 4.30am. If you take pride in maintaining a safe and clean environment and have experience in industrial cleaning, we would love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning of paint booths, welding, shot blast area, including jet washing, floor scrubber drier, confined space cleaning, high-level cleaning and other specialist cleaning duties.
- Operate industrial electrical cleaning equipment and power tools, including hammers, chisels and Dry Ice Blaster, in accordance with health and safety and COSHH regulations.
- Waste management – collection, transportation, and storage of waste for both internal and external areas.
- Ensure stores and equipment are kept secure and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
- Carry out any reasonable task requested by the Managers and Supervisors.
Key requirements will include:
- Transport essential.
- Experience with working to tight schedules.
- Physically fit and capable of working with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- The post will involve elements of manual handling, and you may also be required to work with substances controlled under COSHH regulations.
- High-level deep cleaning (working at height) and able to work in confined spaces.
