Pinnacle Group are looking for a diligent Grounds Maintenance Operative to ensure our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. You will be joining our Grounds Maintenance teams who are based around the Havant area and travelling to sites across the south coast.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Mowing lawns, edging, and maintaining lawns to keep them neat and healthy.
- Trimming and shaping hedges, shrubs and bushes to promote growth and improve appearance.
- Removing weeds from flower beds, pathways and other landscaped areas to prevent overgrowth.
- Planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants as well as preparing soil and beds.
- Clearing debris, litter picking, sweeping pathways, and maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas.
- Safely operating machinery such as mowers, strimmer and leaf blowers, along with maintaining tools and equipment.
- Driving company vehicles to transport equipment and access multiple sites as required.
- Performing seasonal duties like leaf clearing, frost protection, or preparing sites for different weather conditions.
Key requirements:
- Full driving licence
- Experience in using gardening power tools
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures.
