About the Role About the Role: We’re looking for a skilled and motivated FFE Design Consultant to take ownership of FFE Consultancy projects, though RIBA stage 2-4. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless delivery while maintaining design integrity and client satisfaction, driving innovative yet commercially viable furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) design. Key Responsibilities: * Lead design projects independently, through RIBA stage 2-4. * Oversee project design, ensuring high-quality deliverables. * Lead client meetings and ensure collaborative engagement with the end-user and provide confidence to the contractor. * Lead ISO 19650 standards such as overseeing compliance with BEP, DEIRs and productions of TIDPs etc. * Provide guidance and support to junior designers on assigned projects. * Maintain commercial awareness, making informed design decisions based on cost implications. * Ensure efficient project delivery within the agreed consultancy fee structure. * Proactively manage project communications, ensuring clients remain informed and engaged. * Manage resource allocation on projects and oversee project plans. * Ensure compliance with design standards and client requirements. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) * Effective project leadership and execution. * Client satisfaction and relationship management. * Timeliness and quality of project deliverables. * Effective team collaboration. Requirements Essential Skills and Experience: * Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline * Strong experience in FFE design for educational or commercial environments * Experience of Department for Education frameworks and process * Desirable experience in ALN/SEND/ASN design * Proven ability to manage and lead design projects independently * Familiarity with FFE design compliance standards and project coordination * Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills * Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solver * Eagerness to grow, mentor others, and contribute to a team-first culture
