Warehouse Operative – England, Hampshire, Gosport

Responsibilities

  • There may be overtime if we have chilled orders that need to be fulfilled. Work continues until orders are completed, typically not more than two hours.
  • Variation of roles from light packing to some heavy lifting.
  • Must have a flexible attitude. Staff are moved around frequently, allowing more training on various positions.
  • All work is in a cold environment. All rooms stay below 10°C, meeting legal requirements for food production.
  • We work with frozen and raw meat, so some blood may be present on certain jobs.
  • Opportunity to progress to a bandsaw or machine operator.
  • Opportunity to progress to a supervisor position for the right candidate.

• Monday to Friday

£22.41 per hour overtime.

  • After training, the hourly rate increases to

£22.66 overtime.
