We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate to join our Fund/ Client Accounting team. This role is located in Manchester, UK and will be working in a hybrid capacity (3 days a week in the office).

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provide prime experience as core Fund Accounting senior subject matter experts.
  • Provide UK specific requirements expertise including application of UK Regulations.
  • Assist with the development of the FA remediation plan and enhanced Oversight model.
  • Complete Daily Oversight Reviews for UK Funds in line with NAV Production, including review of:
  • Fund Performance based on daily movement and comparative benchmark where relevant.
  • Share Class Performance to ensure that all share class performance returns are aligned across any single sub-fund and significant deviations are identified and justified.
  • Significant movements.
  • Review of Cash/Asset Reconciliations per agreed model.
  • Review of Errors including deep dive discussions & remediation.
  • Review of FA Service Delivery Performance which focuses on timeliness and accuracy of Fund Accounting deliverables by client with narratives for each day's deliverables.
  • Participation in key FA Business forums.
  • Perform tasks in an accurate and timely manner and update MIS with details of assigned tasks.
  • Review FA Service Reporting, Service Delivery KPI's, Risk Incident Reporting, reconciliation Reporting.
  • Assist the Managers with the following tasks:
    • Outsource provider performance monitoring, reporting and escalation, including collation of monthly provider KRI, KPI and other MI data.
    • Annual outsourced provider due diligence reviews.
    • Monitoring and escalation of any issues that arise relating to findings from Compliance, Audit, Risk or Client Due Diligence.
  • Develop a sound understanding of all technical functions and processes in the team.
  • Identify processes/procedures which may be causing delays in performing the oversight function and escalate so that these issues may be addressed and resolved.
  • To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
    • An understanding of Outsourcing and the FCA/PRA Regulations framework that supports this.
    • Experience in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • Experience in Digital tools including Baseline, PowerBI, Alteryx and UIPath.
