1:1 Support Worker
13 hour day shifts, with occasional overnight sleep‑in (not essential if unavailable) and possible support with overseas holidays (holiday costs and meals covered, but also not essential).
The support role includes supporting a gentleman in his 40\’s, to maintain an active participant in society and with his family. The role will include prompted personal care, domestic support, meal preparation and preparing, driving to and supporting activities.
This role requires a full valid UK licence and access to a vehicle because some activities require travel. Therefore a confident driver is essential.
The role will be the final staff in a small team of (what will be) 4 people. This role will cover staff holidays, planned absences and will be on average 1 day per week (13 hours). The full details of this can be discussed at interview and a payment structure can be worked out for the successful candidate to ensure continuity of earnings on a month by month basis – if needed.
