Main duties of the job include providing and maintaining a high standard of nursing care for patients, as well as providing nursing assistance to the doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team. The duties will encompass all tasks normally undertaken by an experienced RGN and any roles agreed between the nurse and the doctors, having regard to current training.

Job responsibilities include providing and maintaining a high standard of nursing care for patients and assisting doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team.
Person Specification:
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse
- Experience: Working in Primary Care or District Nursing
- Knowledge & Skills: Confident and able to undertake tasks required for a Practice Nurse, e.g., cervical screening, ECGs, child and travel immunisations (following appropriate training if required); computer literate with clinical systems; excellent verbal and written communication skills; evidence of ongoing professional development; experience of EMIS WEB Clinical System.
