A fantastic opportunity is available to add to our friendly and supportive dental team. We are a well-known private specialist dental practice in the heart of Pinner (situated inside the renowned Pinn Medical Centre).

We are currently recruiting for a proactive and positive person to add to our reception team. · Must enjoy working with people

· Front of house (customer service) experience of 3 years is preferred

· You should have a positive and happy telephone manner

· Competent and comfortable on the front desk, and able to co-operate with a large team of healthcare professionals

· Should have High Standard of Personal Appearance

· GDC registered and advantage

About Us:

· Our location has free parking, bus routes and Metropolitan Line tube service.

· We are fully computerised, using SOE (Exact Software) - knowledge of this system is an advantage

· We are a 3 surgery practice with a large team of more than 15 people.

· As well as general dentistry we offer a wide range of services including cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery and dental implants. We have a CT scanner on site for the planning of complex cases.

· Pinn Dental Clinic is more than 38 years old, with deep roots as a family dental practice but is now in a brand new, purpose-built clinic. With lots of long-term staff, we are looking for someone who will fit into our team and is ready for a long term commitment.

Primary Role:

The dental receptionist is the first and main contact point for patients and visitors to our centre and must be well presented. Their role involves greeting patients as they enter the practice and over the phone, answering basic patient questions, booking patients, taking payments, admin etc.

The most important part of this job is looking after the patient and ensuring they have a good experience through the practice. That is done by having a friendly and caring nature, whilst being organised to coordinate their dental treatment. And the person who fits that description is the person we are looking for.

Responsibilities:

· Greet and care for all patients and visitors to the practice in a polite and courteous manner at all times.

· Deal with all enquires, either in person, email or on the telephone in a polite and professional manner.

· Maintain patient confidentiality and data protection.

· Maintain the record systems of the practice, ensuring patients receive all necessary paper work and all forms are signed and dated correctly and information is up to date.

· Deal with incoming patient referrals and book appropriate appointments for patients in absence of patient care advisor.

· Make courtesy calls to patients

· Ensure the reception is always kept in an appropriate condition.

· Promote a professional image of the company at all times and be knowledgeable about the services the practice provides.

· Ensure all monies are taken for treatment and manage the retail sales of the practice

· Draft letters and reports in accordance with the instructions of dentists at the practice

· Ensure that the practice diary is booked and managed effectively.

You must be able to provide references on request, one of them from your last employer.
