About the Role:
As Sales Manager, you’ll be overseeing a team of Finance and Business Managers who arrange vehicle finance packages for customers across a fast-paced operation. This isn’t just about shifting metal — it’s about managing end-to-end customer journeys, ensuring compliance, maximising finance conversions, and helping the team deliver first-class service and profit.
You’ll play a crucial role in:
- Leading and coaching the team to hit monthly KPIs and finance targets
- Managing the performance of Business Managers (F&I-focused)
- Ensuring FCA compliance and responsible lending practices
- Driving conversion rates and improving customer experience
- Reporting on team performance, process improvement, and ROI
- Creating a positive culture of accountability, integrity, and sales excellence
Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive sales and/or finance is ideal
- Strong leadership skills — able to coach, manage and motivate a sales team
- Track record of hitting targets and improving performance
- Understanding of vehicle finance and compliance standards (FCA knowledge is a bonus)
- Comfortable working weekends — this role requires 5 out of 7 days, including weekends
- A hands-on approach with strong people skills and commercial focus
