We’re hiring a Cyber Security Engineer to join a growing, forward-thinking team where you’ll play a hands-on role in protecting systems, data, and users. If you enjoy working on real incidents, solving complex problems, and strengthening security posture, this is your opportunity to make a genuine impact.
The Role
- Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts
- Investigate incidents and support remediation activities
- Manage vulnerabilities and support patching across systems
- Strengthen endpoint security using the Microsoft security stack
- Support security operations, reporting, and continuous improvement
- Contribute to system hardening and secure configurations
- Promote security awareness across the organisation
What You’ll Need
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender, Intune, and Entra ID
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and patch management tools
- Familiarity with ITSM systems and service management processes
- Strong understanding of identity security and access control
- Ability to investigate incidents, triage effectively, and escalate where needed
- Knowledge of Windows environments, networking, and cloud/SaaS security
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services or insurance environments
- Exposure to Microsoft Purview (DLP)
- Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks
