A super opportunity for a Health & Safety professional to join an established and growing Health & Safety Consultancy. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver practical, tailored solutions that drive compliance, mitigate risk, and foster positive safety cultures.
The Role
- Deliver expert advice aligned with legislation and best practices
- Carry out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Develop and implement tailored Health and Safety management systems (e.g. HSG65, ISO 45001)
- Support clients in embedding safe working practices and positive safety cultures
- Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace risks
- Maintain audit-ready records of assessments and inspections
- Recommend and support implementation of corrective actions
- Contribute to team performance through feedback, collaboration, and supporting wellbeing
- Drive process improvements and support cost-effective service delivery
Requirements
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- Chartered Member of IOSH (or working towards)
- Proven consultancy experience in Health and Safety
- Strong working knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in construction and/or commercial sectors (desirable)
- Additional Health and Safety qualifications or specialisms (desirable)
- Experience managing or mentoring team members
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in balancing multiple priorities
- Committed to personal development and continuous improvement
