We’re looking for an Environmental Technician to join a growing Environmental team within a specialist Risk Management division. This is a field-based role. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, travelling to different sites, and building a long-term career within environmental consultancy or occupational hygiene.

Role Overview: You’ll support environmental monitoring projects by carrying out on-site sampling, monitoring, data collection, and technical support activities. Working alongside experienced consultants, you’ll help deliver accurate and compliant environmental assessments across industrial and commercial environments. This is very much a field-based position. Most of your time will be spent on client sites rather than in the office. While there will be occasional office visits, there is no set office attendance requirement. Some weeks may involve no office time at all. Travel across the UK is required and, where necessary, hotel accommodation will be provided. Overnight stays may occasionally be needed, although these are kept to a minimum and employees have flexibility to manage their own schedules. Mileage expenses are paid at the standard HMRC rate of 45p per mile.
