We’re hiring a Cyber Security Engineer to join a growing, forward-thinking team where you’ll play a hands-on role in protecting systems, data, and users. If you enjoy working on real incidents, solving complex problems, and strengthening security posture, this is your opportunity to make a genuine impact.

The Role

  • Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts
  • Investigate incidents and support remediation activities
  • Manage vulnerabilities and support patching across systems
  • Strengthen endpoint security using the Microsoft security stack
  • Support security operations, reporting, and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to system hardening and secure configurations
  • Promote security awareness across the organisation

What You’ll Need

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender, Intune, and Entra ID
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning and patch management tools
  • Familiarity with ITSM systems and service management processes
  • Strong understanding of identity security and access control
  • Ability to investigate incidents, triage effectively, and escalate where needed
  • Knowledge of Windows environments, networking, and cloud/SaaS security

Nice to Have

  • Experience in financial services or insurance environments
  • Exposure to Microsoft Purview (DLP)
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks
