Are you a compliance professional ready to take on a role where you’ll be a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and have real influence across the business?
We’re looking for a Compliance Business Partner to join our clients growing team and provide expert support across all aspects of compliance from advising on FCA requirements to embedding a culture of good conduct and driving better customer outcomes.
This is a chance to step into a senior, visible role where your insights will directly shape decision-making and strengthen the compliance framework.
What you’ll be doing
- Act as the first point of contact for compliance and financial crime queries.
- Provide practical, commercially focused advice to reduce conduct risk.
- Oversee Appointed Representatives (ARs), including onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing oversight.
- Maintain and update compliance policies in line with FCA and regulatory requirements.
- Log and manage conflicts of interest.
- Develop and deliver engaging compliance training for staff.
- Share management information and performance insights with senior leaders.
About You
- Strong knowledge of FCA compliance requirements in commercial and retail insurance.
- Understanding of ICOBS and SMCR regulations.
- Experience with AR onboarding and oversight.
- Background in UK insurance broking or operations.
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and spot risks.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
- CII, ICA, or equivalent professional qualification (desirable)
- Knowledge of Lloyd’s and London Market regulations (desirable)
- Client-focused and proactive.
- Confident decision-maker and problem solver.
- Collaborative, flexible, and adaptable.
- Takes ownership and accountability.
