The Red Team Agent, assigned to a specific client, will conduct red team exercises aligned with the operations plan and Red Team Programme Governance, focusing on exploiting vulnerabilities in physical security. The Agent will:

  • Utilise social engineering techniques, documenting results, and maintain professionalism while ensuring adherence to data privacy protocols.
  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Conduct red team exercises in accordance with the operations plan and under the direction of the Programme Manager.
  • Work within a team to assess and exploit vulnerabilities to physical security by simulating real-world unauthorized entry and other activities that could undermine the client's interests.
  • Engage in social engineering techniques such as tailgating and impersonation to test vulnerabilities.
  • Use designated communication channels to document and verbally report all movements and the results of agreed testing scenarios.
  • Conduct research and maintain current knowledge of security trends and tools to sharpen testing skills.
  • Use creativity and think 'outside the box' to identify vulnerabilities to test the existing security measures.
  • Maintain a safe testing environment, ensure no harm to client properties or personnel, and follow all instructions throughout the exercise.
  • Maintain professionalism by arriving promptly for briefings and debriefings, avoiding distractions, and maintaining a high level of business conduct in communications.
  • In the event of identification by security teams, attempt to de-escalate verbally first and hand over letter of authority only as a last resort or upon request.
  • Handle task equipment provided at the start of the exercise, return it in the same state at the end, and report any damage or loss immediately.
  • Adhere to data privacy and delete all sensitive materials from personal devices post-exercise.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Previous experience in security with knowledge of or willingness to gain knowledge of alarm systems, camera systems, access control systems, architectural principles, and other related physical security systems is required. An interest in psychology or human behaviour is an advantage. Candidates should possess:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on ingenuity and creativity.
  • A high level of integrity, ethics, and client and information confidentiality.
  • The ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Conflict resolution skills through the client's de-escalation processes.
  • Confident, clear, and effective written and verbal communication with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Sound documentation skills.
  • Professionalism in all interactions including punctuality, focus, and adherence to governance protocols.
  • The ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain clear communication flows.
