The GSOC Analyst, assigned to a specific client, will be responsible for supporting and managing security operations in order to help the wider security team protect the client's people, property, information and reputation. This is a global role with one of the key aspects being the monitoring and response to incoming information and alerts from intelligence sources and security systems. You will be responsible for the management and administration of various security systems, reporting tools and databases. The operative will ensure that tactical intelligence and crisis management support is delivered in a timely and accurate manner using the appropriate security communication methodology.
Responsibilities
- Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Provide global incident and emergency response.
- Assess impact of the emergency incident to the employees, assets, operation and reputation.
- Provide high level security briefings to security management.
- Invoke IMT liaison/coordination, as per the agreed process.
- Produce and disseminate reports throughout the life cycle of any incident.
- Where required, support IMT by issuing emergency communications to staff.
- Actively monitor security incidents to determine potential impact and maintain an awareness of strategic trends throughout key regions.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret complex security- and incident-related data.
- Produce and distribute incident reports.
- Phone and email communications with internal customers.
- Be aware of the current threats and challenges faced by the business.
- Assist in producing regular intelligence reports in collaboration with the intelligence analyst.
- Providing low level intelligence assessments obtained from risk service providers and open source.
- Liaison with intelligence analyst around ongoing events and potential impact to the client.
- Monitor for travel alerts and escalation to management, where necessary.
- Assist travellers following incidents or significant developments.
- Direct liaison with 3rd party providers for travel tracking and traveller assistance.
- Deliver travel security risk assessments for staff travelling to high‑risk destinations.
- Monitor and report updates during global client events.
- Communication support with on‑site security teams.
- Incident response and escalation support.
- Conduct all security operational tasks in accordance with GSOC Assignment Instructions, Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Support of site‑based security operations (e.g. building evacuation).
- In extreme circumstances, the individual may be required to operate physical access control systems as part of the BCP arrangement.
- Assisting with investigations, when required.
- Be at all times knowledgeable of all senior site representatives and other key stakeholders.
- Develop strong relations with internal clients globally.
- Be prepared to give briefings to senior managers on security incidents during live events.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent, or demonstrable working experience in a security or GSOC environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
- Proficiency in using intelligence management systems with intelligence monitoring at a tactical level.
- Knowledge of CCTV and Access Control systems.
- Effective communication skills with comprehensive level in the English language, written and spoken.
- Strong IT skills including ability to use all MS Office applications.
- Experience in report and assessment writing.
- Bilingual capabilities preferable.
- Experience working in a similar role, within a corporate or government organization.
- Knowledge of data protection and privacy law.

- Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking.
