Job Title: Learning Support Assistant – SEMH School (Outdoor/Forest School Focus)
Location: Between Horsham & Billingshurst
Hours: Monday 8:30am – 5:00pm, Tuesday to Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm
Salary: £127 per day (Temp) | £26,270 (Perm)
Contract: Temp to Perm (12 weeks via Pink Tile, then permanent)

We are working with a truly stunning specialist SEMH school situated in a beautiful rural setting between Horsham and Billingshurst. The school supports boys aged 6–18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, offering them a nurturing and engaging environment that values outdoor learning and holistic development.
About The Role

  • Full-time Learning Support Assistant with a strong emphasis on outdoor education, nature-based activities, and experiential learning
  • Ideal for those with Forest School Leader, Bushcraft, or Outdoor Instructor backgrounds
  • Support pupils in developing resilience, self-regulation, and engagement through structured outdoor sessions
  • Work alongside a dedicated team who value creativity, patience, and a passion for alternative approaches to learning
What We\'re Looking For
  • Extensive experience in Forest School or outdoor activity instruction
  • Confidence leading or supporting outdoor sessions, regardless of the weather!
  • A valid driver’s license – essential due to the school’s location
  • A nurturing, calm and consistent presence to support young people with additional needs
