About the Role
You’ll support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), creating a safe, stimulating, and joyful learning environment. You will work term‑time only, in line with the school calendar, enjoying school holidays off. Hours are 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday (school hours). Location is Eastbourne – just a short walk from the station.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting learning and development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum
- Creating engaging, play‑based activities to inspire curiosity and confidence
- Observing and recording children’s progress to help shape their learning journeys
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Contributing to a warm, inclusive, and supportive school community
About You
- You hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
- You have experience within a nursery or primary school environment
- You’re passionate about giving children the best possible start in life
- You’re caring, creative, and a great communicator
- You have (or are happy to obtain) an enhanced DBS
