We are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a welcoming school in Hassocks. The role involves working with children 1:1, in small groups or alongside the class teacher during whole-class lessons.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pupils with learning, focus, communication, and confidence.
- Support pupils with SEND and additional needs.
- Help with literacy and numeracy skills.
- Encourage positive behaviour and build strong daily routines.
- Work 1:1, in small groups, or alongside the class teacher during whole-class lessons.
Qualifications & Experience
- Patient, warm, and proactive personality.
- Previous school experience is helpful.
- Experience in childcare, care, youth work, tutoring, coaching, nursery work, or supporting children with additional needs is desirable.
