We are supporting a well-regarded secondary school in Brighton in recruiting reliable and professional Exam Invigilators. The school prides itself on providing a safe, supportive, and focused learning environment, and you could play a key role in ensuring exams run smoothly.
This is ad hoc work, so you can choose shifts that fit your schedule.
Location: Brighton
Hours: Ad hoc, varied between 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Key Requirements:
- Must have a DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Professional, punctual, and dependable.
- Experience working in schools is desirable but not essential.
Role Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during exams, ensuring exam regulations are followed.
- Prepare and set up exam rooms, including materials and seating arrangements.
- Distribute and collect exam papers securely.
- Monitor students throughout exams to prevent misconduct.
- Assist with any issues or emergencies during the exam.
- Maintain a quiet and focused exam environment at all times.
