About the Role

As Deputy Headteacher, you will work alongside the Headteacher to shape the future of the school. You will have strategic responsibility for curriculum development, teaching and learning, assessment, and SEND provision, while acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead and championing pupil welfare.

  • Deputise for the Headteacher and lead the school when required.
  • Drive quality assurance across teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Lead on curriculum innovation and statutory requirements.
  • Support and develop staff through mentoring, CPD, and appraisal.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
  • Build strong partnerships with multi-agency teams, local authorities, and the wider community.
