Learning Support Assistant – Burgess Hill
Pink Tile Education is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a welcoming school in Burgess Hill. This full‑time on‑site position offers great opportunities for career growth.
Pay: £14.25 to £16.40 per hour. Start: As soon as possible or September. Hours: Full‑time with part‑time options available.
Responsibilities
- Support children who need extra help with learning, confidence, communication, and classroom routines.
- Work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Assist with literacy and numeracy and help pupils stay focused in lessons.
- Collaborate with the class teacher to create a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Calm, reliable and encouraging.
- Patient, proactive and genuinely interested in helping children make progress.
- Previous school experience helpful; also welcome experience in care, youth work, childcare, tutoring, sports coaching, or supporting children with SEND.
