We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to engage students in Science and help them achieve their full potential.
The Role
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, creating a positive and engaging learning environment, and supporting students in their academic development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Promote high standards of behaviour and achievement.
- Support students of varying abilities to reach their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to raising student attainment and achievement.
- A passion for education and inspiring young people.
