Sports Behaviour Mentor – Worthing
Salary: £14.25 to £16.40 per hour.
Location: Worthing.
Contract: Temporary, permanent and temp-to-perm opportunities available.
Start date: As soon as possible or September.
Responsibilities
As a Sports Behaviour Mentor, you will help pupils build confidence, manage behaviour, follow routines and engage more positively with school. You may support pupils in lessons, around the school site, during transitions or through structured activities that encourage teamwork, resilience and positive choices.
Qualifications & Requirements
We are looking for someone energetic, calm and reliable. Experience in football coaching, rugby coaching, sports coaching, youth work, SEND, behaviour support, mentoring or care would be useful. The key thing is being able to build trust and stay consistent with pupils who need positive adult role models.
Qualifications may include experience in sport, coaching, fitness, mentoring or youth work, and a commitment to safeguarding and safety.
