HLTA to join their team, supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HLTA ready to take on greater responsibility.
Applications are also welcomed from experienced Cover Supervisors and Unqualified Teachers looking to progress within a specialist school.
The Role
- Support and lead learning across the curriculum.
- Lead lessons in the absence of the class teacher when required.
- Support pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs.
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement.
- Contribute to EHCPs, assessment and pupil progress.
- Build positive relationships and support pupils to develop confidence and independence.
- The Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years' HLTA experience , or suitable experience as an
Unqualified Teacher or Cover Supervisor .
- Experience supporting pupils with
SEMH and/or SEND .
- Confident leading learning and managing behaviour.
- Calm, resilient and adaptable.
- Able to build strong relationships with young people.
- Committed to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
