- Westbury is seeking an enthusiastic
- Maths & Science Teacher to inspire and engage pupils across
- Key Stages 3 and 4 . This is a full-time role until
Christmas , ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs.
The Role
- Teach Maths and Science to KS3 and KS4 pupils.
- Plan engaging, differentiated lessons that meet a range of learning needs.
- Support pupils to develop confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards learning.
- Create a calm, structured classroom where students can thrive.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider school team to support pupil progress.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Maths and Science at secondary level.
- Previous experience in an SEMH, SEND, or alternative provision setting is desirable but not essential.
- A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
- Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and achieve their potential.
