Pink Tile Education is proud to be supporting a range of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools in the Crawley area in their search for a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of Science for a September start. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to helping students develop curiosity, confidence, and a strong understanding of scientific concepts.
You will deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting learners of all abilities to achieve their full potential. Schools are looking for someone who brings strong subject knowledge, clear classroom presence, and a commitment to maintaining high expectations while fostering a supportive and positive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (ECTs encouraged to apply)
- Have strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialism desirable)
- Be confident delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Be committed to raising attainment and supporting all learners
- Be able to manage behaviour effectively and create a positive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive department
This role offers the opportunity to work across well-regarded schools that value staff development, teamwork, and high-quality teaching and learning. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
